Two layers of Sterling silver jump rings are arranged in a flower pattern and bound together in Japanese style with a multitude of fine gauge rings made of violet-mix anodized niobium.
The pattern is Japanese 12-in-2, in which every pair of large silver rings is held by 12 small niobium rings. There is a lot of painstaking hand work involved in making this. I love this piece but I'm not going to make it again because it just takes too much time and work.
The Sterling Silver toggle clasp is a six-pointed star which echoes the six-sided symmetry of the pattern.
The length with clasp can be either 6 inches or 7 inches, depending on whether I add the last flower. Please specify length when you order. The width is 1 inch (25 mm).
Silver will tarnish on exposure to air, so keep it in a plastic bag when not in use. The best way to remove tarnish from silver is to gently rub with a wet paste of baking soda in water, then rinse with warm water.
